HabitFlow Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using HabitFlow, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are under 18, you may use the app with parental or guardian consent. HabitFlow is suitable for users of all ages.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. App Description and Features

HabitFlow is designed to work completely offline, providing you with habit tracking without requiring an internet connection for any core functionality.

3. Wellness Disclaimer

HabitFlow is designed to support positive habit formation. If you find that tracking habits is causing negative feelings, take a break or adjust your goals. Your well-being is more important than any streak.

4. User Responsibilities

Acceptable Use

You agree to use HabitFlow only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You will not:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or compromise the app's security
• Use the app for commercial purposes without permission
• Redistribute or resell the app or its content
• Attempt to circumvent subscription or premium feature restrictions
• Use the app in ways that could harm yourself or others

Healthy Tracking

We encourage balanced habit tracking. Remember that missing a day or breaking a streak is part of life. HabitFlow's skip feature exists specifically to help you maintain a healthy relationship with habit tracking.

5. Intellectual Property

App Ownership

HabitFlow, including its design, preset habits, icons, code, and features, is owned by Darkmaster's Pottery and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the app for personal purposes.

Your Data

You retain ownership of your habits, completions, notes, and custom settings that you create within the app. This data is stored locally on your device and remains under your control.

6. App Functionality and Limitations

Limitations

• No Cloud Sync: Data is stored only on your device; we cannot recover lost data
• Device Storage: App functionality depends on available device storage
• Backup: Use iOS backup to preserve your data when switching devices
• Notifications: Reminders depend on iOS notification permissions

7. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is fundamental to HabitFlow. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our commitment to protecting your information.

• All habit data is stored locally on your device
• We do not collect, transmit, or access your habit information
• No account creation or personal information required
• No analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs

8. Subscription and Premium Features

Subscription Terms

• All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store
• Subscription fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• You can manage subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings
• Premium features remain accessible offline once your subscription is active
• Free tier includes core functionality with some limitations

9. Disclaimers and Limitations

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Darkmaster's Pottery shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of HabitFlow.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to HabitFlow at any time for violations of these Terms or other reasonable causes. You may discontinue use of the app at any time by deleting it from your device.

Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately. Since all data is stored locally, deleting the app will remove your habit data and settings. Subscription refunds are handled according to Apple App Store policies.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of HabitFlow will be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction.
